Adjustable flip speed, spacing between stacked images
and image size
The look and feel of the photoFlow can be adapted to
suit your requirements.
Customizable perspective view and reflections
The horizontal and vertical convergence can be changed
to create a deeper perspective. The opacity, depth
and distance of the reflections are also adjustable.
Option to flip images as a slideshow
The photoFlow includes an adjustable auto flip option
to flip through the images automatically at a specified
interval. Upon reaching the end, the images are flipped
in the reverse order. This process repeats continuously.
ActionScript events to perform an action when an image
has loaded, is selected, etc...
Actions can be triggered when specific events occur.
For example, using the onSelectPhoto event, an action
such as getURL or gotoAndStop may be assigned for the
image that has just been selected. The full list of events
can be found in the photoFlow
userguide.
Images can be external or included in the library
Images can reside externally or they can be incorporated
into your movie by including them in the library of
your Flash file.
Mouse wheel image flipping (Windows only)
The images in the photoFlow can be flipped through by
scrolling the mouse wheel (on Windows computers only).
Optionally display a name for each image
The assigned name can be displayed for the current image.
The name can be positioned above or below the image
as well as left, right or center. The distance from
the image, font, color and size of the text are all
customizable.
Option to set the number of images to preload
You can set the number of images that you wish to preload
before the photoFlow is visible. This option is useful
if you have several images as it allows your vistors
to start browsing through the images that have already
loaded while the remaining images continue to load.
Option to automatically scale images to fit or to fill
the defined size
The images can be set to appear at their original unscaled
size, scaled proportionally to fit the maximum width/height
defined, or stretched to fill the width and height defined.
Zoom in on selected image or on all images on mouse
over
The photoFlow can be optionally set to zoom in all images
in the stack on mouse over or to zoom in only on the
selected image on mouse over. The zoom percentage is
also adjustable.
photoFlow can open on a pre-defined image
You can set the photoFlow to open on a specific image.
For example, if you set the photoFlow to open on the
fifth image, the fifth image will be displayed as the
current image with the first four images stacked on
the left and the remaining images stacked on the right.
Customizable background color and opacity
The image holder background color and opacity is customizable.
This also makes it possible to have a transparent background.
The color of the image border (which appears only while
each image is loading) is also customizable.
Option to start flipping from left-to-right or right-to-left
The stack of images can be set to initially appear on
the left, making the start flip direction to be left
to right.
Supports sound effects for image flipping
A sound can be added to your library which is played
each time an image is flipped.
Built-in preloader
The photoFlow includes a built-in preloader which displays
the load progress of each image.
ActionScript control
A full ActionScript API is included to control the photoFlow
dynamically.
Light weight (weighs only 18kb with the scrollbar)
The photoFlow itself weighs just 15kb and 18kb together
with the included scrollbar.
