- RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing Web content, such as news headlines. With a RSS reader, you can view data feeds from various news sources including headlines, summaries, links to full stories.
- Click on 'Subscribe RSS' and a page similar to above will be shown. First, go to a Website that offer RSS feeds, e.g. http://www.nytimes.com/ .
Then, find an icon like this
RSS and click on it to open a page e.g. http://www.nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/index.html.
- Next, select any news and click on
icon to open an XML file. Copy the URL of an XML file, e.g. http://www.nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/nyt/Business.xml and paste it in the RSS URL textbox.
- Subsequently, click on 'Subscribe' button. Click on
or icon to sort records in ascending or descending order and easily remove RSS URL to unsubscribe.
