General Settings


General Settings

  1. Image Size of Avatar (pixel) - Avatar is an image created in the front-end Forum, 'User Profile' to represent yourself to the other party. Define Avatar size in pixel, (Avatar will be resized if GD is available).

  2. Your GD Extension Version - Select the GD 1.6.2 , GD 2.0 library or higher. (GD library is required for avatar creation, and auto resize. Please check your PHP Info. GIF format is now supported on GD library v2.0.28 and above).

  3. Format of Date Joined - Select your preferable date format from the drop down.

  4. Format of Date Posted - Select your preferable date format with respective time format from the drop down

  5. URL of Your Forum Web Page - Enter a complete URL of your domain to display Forum in your website.

Administration Panel Settings

  1. No. of Records per List Moderator Page - Define number of records to be displayed in a 'List Moderator' page.

  2. No. of Records per List User Page - Define number of records to be displayed in a 'List User' Page.

Front End Settings

  1. Enable Image Text Verification When Sign Up - Click on checkbox to enable captcha Image and display random text image verification in the new member sign up form.

  2. Require Activation Code to Activate Membership - Click on checkbox if require activation code to activate membership.

  3. Allow Public Post/Reply Thread Without Register - Check this option to allow non-registered members to post or reply thread.

  4. Allow Moderator To Ban User - Enable this option to give moderators the permission to ban users.

  5. For Each Topic, Sort the Replies' Date By - Select sorting type either descending or ascending orders to sort replies accordingly.

  6. Text Area To Post Topic / Reply - Choose either a 'Large Text Box' or 'HTML Editor' to allow users to post topics or replies.

  7. Records Limit per Search Result Page - Define how many records to be displayed in a 'Search Result' page.

  8. Records Limit per List User Page - Define how many records to be displayed in a 'List User' page.

  9. Records Limit per List Topic Page - Define how many records to be shown in a 'List Topic' page.

  10. Records Limit per List Reply Page - Define how many records to be displayed in a 'List Reply' page.

  11. Records Limit per Approve Topics Page - Define how many records to be shown in a 'Approve Topics' page.

  12. Records Limit per Approve Replies Page - Define how many records to be shown in a 'Approve Replies' page.

Admin Account for Front End Login

  1. Username, Password & Email Address - Create an account for admin to login to the web page to manage forums.

Forum Display Style

  1. Background & Border Color - Select the 'Forum Background Color', 'Header Background Color', 'Category Background Color', 'Border Color', 'Quote Background Color', and 'Quote Border Color'.
