Contact Form Panel : Manage Fields


Custom Define Form Fields


  1. Select your preferable field type including Text Box, Drop Down Selection, Check Box, Radio Button, Large Text Area, Password, Multi Selection, File Upload, and Date Type.

  2. Text Box

    1. Field Text - Enter field's name which will appear at front-end adjacent to this field.

    2. Default Value - Enter a default value if any which will appear in the text box. (You can enter a hint to let users know what to fill in).

    3. Field Width - Define the width of your text box in pixel.

    4. Field Validation - Check radio button for 'Valid Email'(e.g. john@yahoo.com), select 'Digit Only' to allow only numeric entries, select 'Letter Only' to allow only alphabetical entries, or select 'None' without any validation.

    5. Send Auto-responder - Check this option in enabling auto-responder to send email to users upon form submission.

    6. Compulsory Field - Check this option if this field is required users to fill in or it cannot be left blank


    Drop Down Selection

    1. Field Text - Enter field's name which will appear at front-end adjacent to this field.

    2. Load Field Option - There are two options for you to select either load field 'From Predefined List' where you can select any data available from the drop down list (The data have been created in advance in 'Predefined List') or personalize your own options.

    3. Field Options - Check the radio button for 'From Option List Below', then insert field options, e.g. Occupation (Set it as 'Default' which will appear at the first row in the drop down box) and select 'Use Empty' without passing any value (null). Next, add various occupations such as 'Engineer', 'Doctor', etc. Use or icon to rearrange the sequence.

    4. Field Width - Define the width of your drop down box in pixel.

    5. Compulsory Field - Check this option if this field is required users to fill in or it cannot be left blank


    Check Box

    1. Field Text - Enter field's name which will appear at front-end adjacent to this field.

    2. Load Field Option - There are two options for you to select either load field 'From Predefined List' where you can select any data available from the drop down list (The data have been created in advance in 'Predefined List') or personalize your own options.

    3. Field Options - Check the radio button for 'From Option List Below', then insert field options, e.g. Hobbies (Set it as 'Default' to put a check in the box) and select 'Use Empty' without passing any value (null). Next, add various hobbies such as 'Gardening', 'Swimming', etc. Use or icon to rearrange the sequence.

    4. Item Per Row - Define how many items with check box you wish to display in a row.

    5. Compulsory Field - Check this option if this field is required users to fill in or it cannot be left blank


    Radio Button

    1. Field Text - Enter field's name which will appear at front-end adjacent to this field.

    2. Load Field Option - There are two options for you to select either load field 'From Predefined List' where you can select any predefine data available from the drop down (The data have been created in advance in 'Predefined List') or personalize your own options.

    3. Field Options - Check the radio button for 'From Option List Below', then insert field options, e.g. Gender (Set it as 'Default' to put a check in the box) and select 'Use Empty' without passing any value (null). Next, add gender such as 'female' and 'male'. Use or icon to rearrange the sequence.

    4. Item Per Row - Define how many items with radio button that you wish to display in a row.

    5. Compulsory Field - Check this option if this field is required users to fill in or it cannot be left blank


    Large Text Area

    1. Field Text - Enter field's name which will appear at front-end adjacent to this field.

    2. Default Value - Enter a default value if any which will appear in the text area. (You can enter a hint to let users know what to fill in).

    3. Field Width & Height - Define the width and height of your text area in pixel.

    4. Compulsory Field - Check this option if this field is required users to fill in or it cannot be left blank


    Password

    1. Field Text - Enter field's name which will appear at front-end adjacent to this field.

    2. Default Value - Enter a default value if any which will appear in the text area. (You can enter a hint to let users know what to fill in).

    3. Field Width - Define the width of your text box in pixel.

    4. Compulsory Field - Check this option if this field is required users to fill in or it cannot be left blank


    Multi Selection

    1. Field Text - Enter field's name which will appear at front-end adjacent to this field.

    2. Load Field Option - There are two options for you to select either load field 'From Predefined List' where you can select any data available from the drop down list (The data have been created in advance in 'Predefined List') or personalize your own options.

    3. Field Options - Check the radio button for 'From Option List Below', then insert field options, e.g. Hobbies (Set it as 'Default' which will appear at the first row in the drop down box) and select 'Use Empty' without passing any value (null). Next, add various hobbies such as 'Gardening', 'Swimming', etc. Use or icon to rearrange the sequence.

    4. Field Width - Define the width of your multi selection box in pixel.

    5. Field Size - The size of your field is based on how many options you wish to create, if there are 5 options, then enter sizes as 5.

    6. Compulsory Field - Check this option if this field is required users to fill in or it cannot be left blank


    File Upload

    1. Field Text - Enter field's name which will appear at front-end adjacent to this field.

    2. Allow Upload File - Check radio button for 'All Extensions' to allow users to upload any format of file they wish. Check 'Only File With Extension' to specify the file format such as jpg, gif, zip, bmp, tif, and png.

    3. Compulsory Field - Check this option if this field is required users to fill in or it cannot be left blank


    Date Type

    1. Field Text - Enter field's name which will appear at front-end adjacent to this field. (Note : This field will load direct from predefine list for combination Day, Month, Year.)


  3. Hit the 'Add' button to insert fields in the contact form. Created fields will be shown in the table below where you can rearrange fields sequence accordingly, edit records, and delete them easily.
