Silk-Screen & Offset
Printing - Silk-Screen
printing is the process of transferring ink through
a fine mesh screen onto a CD or DVD. CDs are printed
in a similar fashion, but the equipment is more automated
and the process is faster. This process we utilizes
an 133 to 175 line screen (the number of lines or dots
per inch on a halftone screen), providing excellent
quality for PMS and four-color process (CMYK). For
a better four-color process and match to your packaging
materials.
Blue Gel Media also offers
the latest in Offset printing. Offset printing onto
CDs & DVDs
is similar to Offset printing for a high quality magazine:
it's the process of using an intermediate blanket cylinder
to transfer an image from the image carrier to the CD.
This process utilizes up to 175 line screen, providing
excellent quality. Keep in mind that we have to start
with Good Quality Artwork with a minimum resolution of
300 dpi.
Why would you have your
products not look their absolute best? Our Silk-screen & Offset
printing processes allow us to produce the most dramatic
images on your CDs and DVDs than ever before.
