CD replication starts with glass mastering and ends with packing: Glass mastering from your CD audio data on any of the suitable.

Formats that can be mastered include Mode 1 CD-ROM, Mode 2 CD-ROM XA, Video CD and CD EXTRA.

Replication will follow glass mastering using the stampers produced. With a capacity of over 1 million good discs per day, we are able to provide a high quality, fast service throughout the year.

All discs are inspected for defects and measurements taken from samples to ensure that the high quality standards are maintained. The first discs replicated are bit-for-bit tested with the original.

DVD-ROM Pre mastering & Replication

DVD-Video authoring and pre mastering, including video & audio encoding, graphics creation & editing, subtitles, menus, navigation, title proofing and transfer to DLT or DVD-R "authoring".

We also offer a range of replication services for DVD: Glass mastering of DVD-ROM, DVD-Video and/or DVD-Audio from your source data on DLT or DVD-R, with optional copy protection where appropriate. Replication of DVD-5 (4.7GB single sided), DVD-10 (9.4GB double sided) and DVD-9 (8.5GB, dual layer).

Label Printing

Blue Gel Media offers up to 5 colors using high quality screen printers or Offset printing. UV cured inks allows a high quality, durable label to be added to any CD-ROM. Artwork for disc labels can be created or modified in our design department.

Silk-Screen printing is the process of transferring ink through a fine mesh screen onto a CD or DVD. CDs are printed in a similar fashion, but the equipment is more automated and the process is faster. This process we utilizes an 133 to 175 line screen (the number of lines or dots per inch on a halftone screen), providing excellent quality for PMS and four-color process (CMYK). For a better four-color process and match to your packaging materials.

Blue Gel Media also offers the latest in Offset printing. Offset printing onto CDs & DVDs is similar to Offset printing for a high quality magazine: it's the process of using an intermediate blanket cylinder to transfer an image from the image carrier to the CD. This process utilizes up to 175 line screen, providing excellent quality. Keep in mind that we have to start with Good Quality Artwork with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
