Tutorial Videos - Web Design and Graphics
September 28, 2007
Hey folks! Exciting news. We have been trying for a long time to figure out the best way to provide our customers and everyone else too, with quality tutorials to help improve their ability to work with their web design and with templates which they may purchase. In the past we have tried text content tutorials, which were costly and time consuming to develop plus still difficult for the average beginner. We also tried creating Flash movie tutorials, but that took even more time and money. So we have decided now, to go with screen capture movies which we will distribute for everyone to use on YouTube.
Hey just an update on this post: Our first tutorial went up over the weekend. We are still working on the video quality. That should improve as we practice using our capture tools . But you will be able to view our new tutorials as they come out by subscribing to our “Channel” on YouTube.com . http://youtube.com/profile?user=bluegelmedia
The great thing about these tutorials are their ease of use and ease of development. By simply turning on screen motion into video and overlaying with audio narrative, we can create step by step demos of anything quickly and easily. For the user, you will have the advantage of hearing and seeing the steps in a tutorial simultaneously. With the actual live motion of each step in a program being shown to you, learning will be a snap.
We hope to have the first of these videos online by Oct. 15th. We welcome you to post your requests for tutorials right here on the blog. It’s going to be fun.
